Mexico City Movie & Series Tour
Description
Lights, cameras... Mexico City! The capital has been the scene of numerous film shoots. We'll start to discover the most important ones in the Plaza de la Solidaridad, where, at the indicated time, we'll start this cinematic tour of the sets of series and films.
During this walking tour, we'll see where some of the Spectre sequences were filmed. In this 007 movie, released in 2015, the secret agent James Bond is involved in a thrilling chase through Mexico City that takes place during the Day of the Dead parade in and around the Plaza del Zócalo.
While we pass by other famous spots such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Plaza Tolsá, the Theatre Fru Fru or the Chinatown, we'll discover other filming locations. We'll talk about outstanding feature films such as the film Rome. In 2019, Alfonso Cuarón, a native of Mexico City, won the Oscar for Best Director for this film.
We'll continue our film tour of Mexico City, passing through other places in the capital that are closely linked to the Seventh Art. Among them, we'll reveal where some scenes from the 2019 film Godzilla 2: King of the Monsters were shot.
After 3 hours of discovering which films and series have been filmed in the Mexican capital, we'll conclude the tour in the historic centre of the city.
