Mexico City Free Walking Tour
Mexico City Free Walking Tour
We'll start the tour in the centre of Mexico City and begin our walking tour. Let's go!
First, we'll admire the imposing architecture of the Palace of Fine Arts. You'll love the mixture of Art Nouveau and Art Deci which it represents. Then, we'll head to the Palacio Postal and the National Art Museum to take a look inside both impressive monuments. Then the tour continues to the Tiled House, a palace in the centre of the city, which was the official residence of the Counts of the Orizaba Valley.
Before arriving at Constitution Square, we'll pass by the Iturbide Palace, and the Church of the Profession, an imposing and fascinating baroque construction. Then in Constitution Square our expert guide will tell you all about Mexico City, outlining the changes the capital has seen over the years.
Then, we'll visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, and take a look inside if possible on the day of the tour. Before finishing our free walking tour, we'll visit the Templo Mayor and Templo de Tlaloc two architectural sites where you can study the Aztec ruins which are the foundation of the city itself.
