Explore Mexico City in a fun and unique way with this Electric Bike Tour. You'll cycle around the most important corners of the city while you taste the most traditional cuisine.
Electric Bike Tour
Upon booking, you can choose between two routes around Mexico City, and whether you prefer the tour in the morning or in the afternoon. Both routes start at Hotel Laila at 9:30 am or 3 pm, depending on your choice, and end five hours later at the same point.
City Centre Tour (20 km/12 miles)
We'll get on the electric bikes and start pedalling through downtown Mexico City. We'll pass by the Museum of Anthropology, the Museum of Modern Art and the Rufino Tamayo Museum, to discover more about this important painter.
The tour will also take us through Chapultepec Park, the Monument to the Fatherland, and the symbolic Nezahualcóyotl fountain. We'll continue pedalling through the Lions Gate, the Post Office and the National Palace.
Further stops will be made at the Angel of Independence and the Plaza de la Constitución, where the Cathedral is located. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Food Tour (20 km/12 miles)
We'll get on the electric bikes and head to the best food corners around Mexico City. We'll stop to taste a traditional panucho, a corn tortilla is filled with beans.
Next, we'll enter the Cucurucho Café to try the traditional pot coffee. Then we'll continue cycling downtown to one of the most popular restaurants, Tlacoyos Medellín. You'll be surprised by the taste of this oval shaped tortilla! Our next stop will be the Churrería el Moro, where we'll get off the bikes to taste the best churros in town.
The tour has to end with a delicious traditional dessert, sweet bread with juice.
Important Information
- The minimum age to ride the bikes is 12 years old.
- Children between 6 and 12 years old won't be able to participate in the activity.
- Children under 6 years old can carry out the tour on a child's seat on the back of another bike.
