Coyoacán Food Tour
Description
At the indicated time we'll start this food tour of Coyoacán at the cafería El Beneficio de la Duda, located at Calle Xicoténcatl, 275. Are you ready to discover the flavours of Mexico City's most bohemian neighbourhood?
During the route, we'll make a total of 8 stops to try different local products from the neighbourhood, which will change periodically. These tastings will include Coyoacán's typical tostadas and quesadillas. Your mouth will be watering!
On this tour of Coyoacán, you'll also learn about the history of the writers, artists, filmmakers and other intellectuals who lived in the neighbourhood. The most famous are undoubtedly Frida Kahlo and Octavio Paz, but there are many more that we'll tell you about along the tasty route.
Between one story and another, we'll continue our tour of the neighbourhood by visiting different street food stalls, markets and family restaurants. In these places, we'll try other exquisite products such as Tlayuda tortillitas and esquites, a tasty snack made with corn kernels.
In addition, in one of the restaurants, we'll have a contemporary dish to go with a signature cocktail and a craft beer. And, of course, we won't miss the opportunity to try the traditional Coyoacán sweets.
Finally, after a 3.5-hour tour, we'll conclude the tour in the centre of Coyoacán.
