Yucatecan Cooking Class Mérida
Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Hotel Caribe and head to where the Yucatecan cooking class will take place. Time to start an authentic gastronomic immersion in Mérida!
First of all, we'll make a short stop at the Lucas de Gálvez market, one of the most famous in the city. Fruit, fresh vegetables, spices, meat, seafood... We'll be in the ideal place to buy the products we need for the cooking class.
With all of the ingredients acquired, we'll board a public bus to go to an authentic meridana's house. The hostess will welcome us and meet us in the kitchen to start teaching us how to prepare different traditional dishes.
The menu of the cooking class will vary according to the season, but it will always consist of three courses of Yucatecan delicacies. To reward ourselves for a job well done in the kitchen, we'll sit down at the table to taste everything we have prepared. You'll also get to taste some local drinks - everything will be delicious!
After 4 to 5 hours of activity, we'll say goodbye and leave you at the starting point.
