Merida Panoramic Tour
After picking you up at your hotel at your selected time, we'll hop into a vehicle to embark on a panoramic tour of Mérida to explore its historic center.
We'll visit Santa Lucía Park and walk along the paths of the Zócalo (main square) until we reach the Yucatán Cathedral, the first basilica erected in continental America, as well as the Puerta del Perdón, a rounded archway displaying images of St. Peter and St. Paul.
In Zócalo, you'll admire the most picturesque Yucatecan figures, such as the famous sillas confidentes, and learn about life in the ancient settlement of T'Hó. Then, we'll check out the Plateresque style of Casa de los Montejo, a family home built by Spanish conquistadors in the 16th century.
Afterward, we'll stop at Palacio Cantón, a beautiful and eclectic French-inspired mansion built at the beginning of the 20th century. We'll also make a stop at Monumento a la Patria, a stone monument displaying over 300 figures that tell the history of Mexico.
After two hours of sightseeing in this fascinating city, the tour will come to an end at your hotel in Mérida.
