At the time of booking, you can choose from one of the following options. All of them start with pickup at your hotel in Mérida and include the return transfer.
Excursion to Uxmal & Kabah (8 hours)
After picking you up at your hotel in Merida we'll head to the archaeological site of Kabah, in the interior of the Yucatán Peninsula. Did you know that this site is dedicated to Chaac, the Maya god of rain?
You'll have free time here to visit the site and check out the countless masks of the deity that covers the façade of the Codz Poop, the "rolled mat", and discover what rites were celebrated to attract rain. You can also walk by the statues of the Maya kings and visit the palace, the largest building in Kabah.
Following the visit to Kabah, we'll move on to Uxmal, an archaeological site where you can admire the Pyramid of the Magician, the House of the Governor, the House of the Doves, and the Nunnery Quadrangle - a fascinating place!
Excursion to Chichén Itzá (4 hours)
The archaeological site of Chichén Itzá awaits us on this route. Once we arrive at our destination, you'll have approximately one hour of free time to explore these Maya ruins that constitute one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
You'll be able to see the Temple of Kukulcan and the Ball Court as well as learn all about the legends of the gods of Chichén Itzá.
Excursion to Chichén Itzá & Valladolid (11 hours)
Want to take advantage of your visit to Chichén Itzá to see the nearby city of Valladolid? If so, this private excursion from Mérida is your best bet. You'll be able to visit the iconic archaeological site and, afterward, you'll explore one of the oldest cities of the Yucatán Peninsula.
Excursions finishing at other points
If at the end of the tour, you want to stay in another city instead of returning to Mérida, you can also book the tour of Chichén Itzá finishing in Playa del Carmen or Cancun, or book the visit to Uxmal and Kabah finishing in Campeche. We'll drop you off at the hotel of your choice in these cities.
