Description

At the time indicated, we'll meet at the Hotel Caribe to start a tour around Merida filled with flavour. Firstly, we'll explore the historic centre on our way to Lucas de Gálvez Market, the most famous in the city. Let's go!

We'll explore the market and admire the variety of products for sale here. Many of them are perfect examples of Yucatan cuisine, such as the famous cochinita. Hungry? Don't worry, you'll enjoy a small tasting included in the market.

Then, we'll enjoy a delicious ice cream or sorbet before visiting two of the best bars in Merida. We'll spend approximately an hour at each establishment and enjoy a traditional drink in both.

We'll talk about the origin of Mexican bars and explain what makes them so special. With a bit of luck, we'll even be able to listen to live music in one of them.

After a 4-hour route, we'll say our goodbyes in the second bar, on Calle 47 in Merida.
