Tour Options

You have two different thrilling options to choose from for this quad tour in Acanceh. All of them include transportation, an English–speaking guide, vehicle and helmet rental, and bottled water. Below, you can check out the differences between the itineraries:

Day Tour (4.5 hours)

After gathering at Santa Ana Park at the designated time, we'll embark on a half-hour drive to Acanceh. Ready for an adventure tour of this town?

Our journey kicks off with a brief introduction to the route and ATV driving. Once briefed, we'll hop onto our vehicles and depart from the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, making our way toward the Acanceh Ruins.

Upon arrival, we'll admire the exterior of the renowned Temple of the Masks, the best-preserved masks in the Yucatan. These five pieces once adorned the Acanceh Pyramid, and we'll share intriguing facts about them.

Our ATV adventure continues, taking us past the Palace of the Stuccoes and into the Observatory. Following this, we'll traverse a dirt road leading to an old hacienda, offering insights into the daily life of the local inhabitants.

Wrapping up our exploration, we'll return to the center of Acanceh, and from there, we'll escort you back to Merida.

Night tour (5.5 hours)

For those with extra time and a desire to experience Acanceh at dusk, the night tour is the perfect choice!

We'll follow the same route outlined in the daytime itinerary but with the enchantment of the evening sunset. Additionally, after exploring the hacienda, we'll head to a local community for a delightful dinner, witnessing the preparation right on the spot!

The menu features a typical Yucatecan dish made from corn, tomato, and cheese. With this delightful taste lingering, we'll journey back to Acanceh and then return to Mérida.
