At the selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel for a private tour of Mendoza. Ready to get to know this beautiful Argentine city?
The tour will start with a minibus ride along the Alameda promenade to the Pedro del Castillo square, which is located on the same spot where Mendoza was founded in the 16th century. After learning about the origins of the city, we'll go to the old town to visit the main squares of San Martin and Independence.
Next, we'll continue our private tour in the Civic Quarter, which houses the Government House and the Palace of Justice. Then, we'll take the famous Emilio Civit Avenue until we reach the great green lung of the city: the General San Martin Park, with almost 600 hectares (1,482 acres) of the forest!
During the tour through the park, we'll visit its most iconic places, such as the lake, the rose garden, or the monumental Fountain of the Continents. The next stop will be at the Cerro de la Gloria, where we'll see the Frank Romero Gray Greek Theater from the outside. Also, we'll stop in front of the Monument to the Army of the Andes to observe the sculptures representing the liberating troops of Chile and Peru.
Finally, after a three-hour tour, we'll end the private tour by returning to your hotel in Mendoza.
