Potrerillos Dam Trekking Tour
Options
When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following options. Both options include pickup at your hotel in Mendoza at 9 am, transportation, an English-speaking guide and return transfer.
Trekking route & rappelling
Upon arrival, we'll begin a trekking route around the Potrerillos reservoir. During the hike, of approximately one hour and moderate difficulty, we'll enjoy magnificent views of the Mendoza River and the foothills of the Andes.
Then, for two and a half hours, we'll get a rush of adrenaline by rappelling 18 meters, a truly unforgettable experience! Afterward, you'll be able to enjoy the landscapes of Potrerillos at your leisure.
At 3 pm, we'll return to your hotel in Mendoza.
Trekking route & lunch
In this case, we'll go on a trekking route with a moderate-high difficulty. On this hike through the Potrerillos area, we'll climb to the top of Cabras Hill, located at 2,160 meters above sea level. The views from the top are incredible!
After the hike, which lasts approximately 5 hours, we'll refuel with a picnic lunch that includes sandwiches, nuts, seasonal fruit, juices and mineral water. Then, you'll have about an hour of free time to stroll at your leisure along the banks of the Mendoza River.
We'll conclude the activity by returning to your hotel in Mendoza, where we'll arrive at 6 pm.
Pickup
Both options of this activity include pickup and transfer back to the hotels in the center of Mendoza. If you're staying in more remote areas, we'll pick you up at the following point in the city: Paseo Sarmiento, 129.
