Potrerillos and Cacheuta Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza and set off for Cacheuta, a one-hour drive away.
As we approach our destination, the huge Andean mountains, and the beautiful Mendoza River, where we'll traverse the river's most narrow sliver. We stop in Cacheuta to take a selfie on a wonderful hanging bridge, 1000 feet high up. You will hear all about the importance of oil in the region and we will visit the natural hot springs.
Back in the vehicle, we'll pass through the Cacheuta tunnel. Inaugurated in 2018, this stretch of road has become a tourist attraction in its own right due to the incredible views of the Potrerillos dam that greet you on the other side,
We'll stop at a viewpoint to admire this artificial lagoon, which is more than 6 miles long. Afterward, the tour continues as we stroll along the avenues of El Salto where you'll have an hour of free time to have a snack.
Then, we'll finish the excursion by returning to the Mendoza hotels, arriving 5 hours later.
