You will enjoy this amazing traditional fishing trip in the province of Mendoza, choosing from four different locations. All tours last between 8 and 10 hours and include hotel transfers, 4x4 transport, four hours of fishing, and a full meal with drinks. You choose which one suits you best.
Fishing in Potrerillos (8 hours)
At 5 a.m we will pick you up at your hotel in a 4x4 and head for Potrerillos, about an hour and a half's drive away. As soon as we arrive, we teach you some of the essential fishing techniques before climbing onboard a boat which will take us out into the Potrerillos reservoir.
After four hours of fishing, you will then have some free time to eat and take a stroll around the area. The menu consists of a cold dish, a selection of hams, cheeses, beef jerky, and drinks. Once the activity is over, we return to the hotels in Mendoza around 1 pm.
Fishing in Arroyo Grande (10.5 hours)
This fishing trip around Arroyo Grande is ideal for beginners and children. We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:30 am and then drive in a 4x4 to Arroyo Grande, about an hour away. We will fish in two different areas: the lagoon, which is more difficult, and a rainbow trout farm, which is easier. Here, your catches could weigh up to 5.5 lbs.
After fishing, we will have a delicious traditional ´Parilla´ barbecue. You can even cook the fish that you have caught. After eating, we will head back to Mendoza, arriving at your hotel at around 7 pm.
Fishing in the El Tigre reservoir (10 hours)
We will pick you up at your hotel in Mendoza at 8:30 a.m and then head to the idyllic El Tigre Reservoir. Guanacos and Patagonian rhea birds are there to welcome you as we drive into this stunning wilderness area around two and a half hours outside the city.
The area, rich in fauna and flora, offers you two great fishing spots: the lower stream, with rainbow trout of up to 2 lbs, and the upper stream where the fish can reach 3.5 lbs. After fishing, you will have an hour and a half to eat. The menu includes traditional barbecued meat, salad, bread, dessert, and drinks. After lunch, we will return to Mendoza and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
Fishing in San Pablo (10.5 hours)
After picking you up at the hotel at 8:30 a.m., we head to the most exclusive of the four options: the San Pablo ranch. After a two hour drive, we arrive at our destination, where a hearty breakfast will be waiting for you. Feeling fully energized, we begin a delightful tour of a private winery and the area's vineyards. All the time, you will enjoy stunning mountain landscapes surrounding you on all sides and the sight of the majestic Tupungato volcano, rising up more than 21,000 feet.
In the middle of this stunning setting, we will enjoy four hours of fishing. Once the activity is over, we will eat a traditional 'Parilla' barbecue, accompanied by salad, bread, drinks, and dessert. Then, feeling reenergized, we will start the journey back to Mendoza, arriving at your hotel at around 7 pm.
