Campanario Hill Hiking Tour
Campanario Hill Hiking Tour
We will pick you up at 10 am at your hotel in Mendoza and drive to the outskirts of the city.
After a one hour drive we'll arrive at La Crucesita, a beautiful viewpoint from where we'll be able to see the whole valley of the Mendoza River. From this famous panoramic point we'll embark on a low-difficulty hiking route, where we'll walk for between two and three hours through beautiful landscapes that reach a maximum altitude of 1816 metres (5958 feet).
We'll take an uphill path that will take us through the interior of the Mendoza ravine. We then follow the course of a stream to the base of Campanario Hill, where we start the route to the summit of this mountain massif.
The effort will be well worth it, as we'll climb up to the bell that gives its name to the hill. At the top we'll enjoy the views while having a picnic lunch that includes empanadas, wine and traditional Argentinian pastries called 'alfajores'.
After lunch, we'll start our descent to La Crucesita. At this point we'll get back into the vehicle that will take us back to Mendoza, where we'll arrive at your hotel at 3 pm.
