Andes Crossing & Santiago de Chile Private Day Trip
Andes Crossing & Santiago de Chile Private Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Mendoza and drive west towards the Andes Mountains. Along the way, we'll cross the valleys of Potrerillos and Uspallata, whose landscapes will captivate you forever!
The route will continue towards the Andes Crossing via the Punta de Vacas pass. We'll also stop at a viewpoint in the area so that you can contemplate the Tupungato volcano. We'll also stop at another viewpoint to admire the Aconcagua, the highest mountain in America, reaching 6962 metres!
After enjoying these extraordinary panoramic views, we'll go to the Puente del Inca Natural Monument and from there to Las Cuevas. Next to this village is the tunnel of Christ the Redeemer of the Andes, which will give us access from Argentina to the neighbouring country.
As soon as we enter Chile, we'll cross the zigzagging Portillo road, from where we'll see the Inca Lagoon. We'll then take the highway along the Aconcagua River until we reach the town of Los Andes. You'll have an hour free for lunch in this town, where you'll enjoy the Chilean cuisineof the frontier.
From the town of Los Andes we'll drive to Santiago de Chile, where we¡ll take a short panoramic tour to appreciate how the city spreads out at the foot of the mountain range. Finally, from the Chilean capital, we'll return to Mendoza. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 8 pm.
