Mount Gourougou, Nador & Cape Tres Forcas Self-Guided Tour
Mount Gourougou, Nador & Cape Tres Forcas Self-Guided Tour
At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Melilla and drive to Beni Ensar, where the border between Spain and Morocco is located. After clearing customs, we'll head to Cape Tres Forcas, declared a Site of Biological and Ecological Interest - we'll soon find out why!
After approximately a 50-minute journey, we'll arrive at this cape open to the Mediterranean Sea, through which millions of birds pass every year on their migratory route from Africa to Europe and vice versa. Next, we head to the beach of Pointe Negri on the western slope of the cape to marvel at its landscapes. Did you know that this place is home to an abandoned ship?
Then, we'll continue the excursion to Mount Gourougou, which offers stunning panoramic views of Melilla and its surroundings. From there we'll go to the coastal city of Nador, one of the most popular destinations in northern Morocco. Here, you'll have free time to visit its historic center, go shopping in its numerous stores, and sample the local gastronomy.
After this time, we'll regroup in Nador to return to Melilla, where we'll take you back to your hotel at 5:30 pm.
