Fez Guided Tour
Fez Guided Tour
At 7 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Melilla to start our excursion to Fez from Melilla. The early morning will be worth it, don't worry!
After going through border control at the Beni Ensar, we'll drive for about 4 hours into inland Morocco to reach Fez. Halfway through, we'll make a brief stop to stretch our legs.
Once we arrive in this imperial city, we'll take a panoramic tour of Fez. During the tour, we'll gaze upon the impressive exterior facade of the Royal Palace, stroll through the Jewish Quarter (also called Mellah) and admire the Medina from Borj Sur, the best viewpoint in Fez.
After first admiring it from afar, we'll then venture into the Medina of Fez. Let yourself be fascinated by its bustle, its traditional stalls, its people, and its many monuments. Among the latter, the Al Karaouine Mosque, which houses the oldest university in the world, stands out. Did you know that it was founded by Fatima, the daughter of Mohammed?
At the end of the guided tour of Fez, we'll recharge our batteries with a traditional Moroccan dish and start our way back to the city of Melilla. After crossing the border between Morocco and Spain again, we'll take you back to your hotel in Melilla at 5:30 pm.
