Tour Details

We'll meet at the Flinders Station meeting point, Australia's oldest train station, to begin our tour. From here, we begin our free walking tour of Melbourne's historic center, CBD, or the central business and leisure district, all colloquial names given to this area of the city that's also known as the culture capital of Australia.

Our first stop will be the massive St. Paul Cathedral with its ornate architecture. From here, we'll pass through Federation Square Plaza, one of the main tourist attractions in the city, as it's the leading site for over 2000 cultural events throughout the year.

After, we'll cross over to the heart of Melbourne via the Yarra River Bridge, where we'll take in a marvelous panoramic view of Australia's capital. On the other side of the river, we'll pass by the Immigration Museum, a commemorative monument to immigration in Australia.

Along our route, we'll also stroll through ACDC Lane, a street named in honor of the famous rock band that rose to fame in the heart of Melbourne. The street, inaugurated in 2004, bears the band's name along its walls.

Our free walking tour will culminate at Collins Street, a hidden maze of secret passageways full of street art, after about two hours together.
