Río Mágico Trekking Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in Medellín at the scheduled time. and board a 4x4, heading to Cocorná, in the department of Antioquia. After two and a half hours of travel, tp where we'll enjoy a delicious breakfast, we will arrive in the rural area, and take up the path that will lead us to the Melcocho River - the Río Mágico. Let the adventure begin!

Over the course of an hour and a half, we will trek through the lush forest that surrounds this river named "Magic" by the locals. You'll discover the origin of the nickname during the route!

Throughout the entire route, we will cross streams, slopes and dirt roads. And every effort will be worth it when we see the crystal clear waters of the Melcocho River: a gem running through the Colombian jungle that exudes natural beauty at every turn.

The liana trees, stones that line the river and dappled shadow of the treetops make it a perfect setting for a dip. Afterwards, we'll make our way to the Blue Bridge to delight in a well-deserved lunch in the middle of the jungle. Once we've eaten, we'll return to the starting point of the hike.

Back in the vehicle, we will return to Medellín, where we will arrive after 13 hours together.
