Medellín Museums Tour
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the meeting point of your choice to begin this tour of Medellín's museums. Ready for an exciting cultural tour? Let's go!
First, we'll check out the Casa de la Memoria, a place created to reflect and understand how armed conflicts and violence have been overcome in the streets of the city.
Afterwards, we'll head to the Museum of Modern Art, where locals and tourists gather to discover contemporary works. Photography, sound and 21st century Colombian art combine in this space.
Next up, we'll continue the tour at Botero Square, an impressive open-air museum that houses 23 bronze sculptures by the artist Fernando Botero. In this same square is the Museum of Antioquia, the best preserved art deco building in Colombia.
From here, we'll enter this museum to discover the art and history of the 19th and 20th centuries in the region. Plus, we'll see up close the most representative works of artists closely linked to the city of Medellín, such as Fernando Botero, Luis Caballero and Pedrito Botero.
Finally, we'll say goodbye at the starting point between 8 and 10 hours after the beginning of the activity.
