Jardín Tour
Jardín Tour
After meeting at the chosen meeting point, we'll depart from Medellín and head towards the Andean town of Jardín, located in the southwest Antioquia region.
On our way to Jardín, we'll pass through Hispania and Andes, two traditional villages of the Colombian coffee region. In the surrounding areas, we'll see grand haciendas where the treasured coffee bean is cultivated.
Once in Jardín, we'll get off the bus to begin an amazing adventure through the beautiful town. Did you know it's been named a Colombian Heritage Town? It stands out, especially for its colonial-style houses with colorful windows and doors.
We'll carry on by foot as we tour this charming village, admiring different monuments like the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, constructed with materials extracted by nearby quarries. We'll also enter the famous Casa de los Dulces and visit the Macanas coffee shop.
Following the visit, we'll stop in the center of Jardín for a traditional lunch whose menu includes specialties from the region.
Then, 10 hours later, we'll bring our tour to an end at the meeting point in Medellin.
