At the designated time, we'll meet at Carrera 73 #20A-22 in Medellín to begin this cooking class with a brief explanation of the different types of empanadas in Colombia, a delicacy that differs from region to region.
Once we've all arrived, we'll be greeted with a refreshing drink which will set the tone for our culinary adventures. From crunchy meat-filled empanadas to ones made of sweet plantain, we'll discover how this dish has become an integral part of Colombian history and culture.
Are you ready to get stuck in? After our introduction, the chef will guide us step by step in preparing empanadas, from selecting ingredients to getting them perfectly golden during the cooking process. There will be a great range of flavours and dips for you to try: meat, chicken, and vegetables, alongside irresistible sauces that will enhance every bite. You get to choose the combination!
After the class, we will, of course, sit down to enjoy our own creations while we remember the best moments from this culinary experience.
The activity will come to an end after 2.5 hours making our tastebuds happy with Colombia's cuisine.
