Durango Day Trip
Durango Day Trip
After picking you up at 6 am from your hotel in Mazatlan, we'll drive north on the Durango highway. The route will take us over the Baluarte Bridge, one of the tallest cable-stayed bridges in the world.
After a drive of approximately 90 minutes, we'll arrive in Durango: a beautiful Mexican city in the heart of the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. The first stop of our tour will be at the Francisco Villa Museum, which is dedicated to the historic Pancho Villa, one of the key figures of the Mexican Revolution.
We'll continue our tour of Durango by admiring the city from its emblematic cable car, which offers unparalleled views of the old town. We'll then walk through this area to see its beautiful colonial buildings up close, including the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Around midday, we'll stop for a break and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch including a variety of local products. We'll then continue strolling through the beautiful historic centre of Durango, where the picturesque Plaza del IV Centenario stands out.
Finally, we'll return to Mazatlan. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 6 pm.
Hotel Pick Up
The tour includes hotel pick up in the following areas of Mazatlan: Centro, Malecon, Dorada and Cerrito. If your accommodation is located outside of this area, we'll pick you up at the following meeting point instead: Boulevard Marina, int 58 (Centro).
