Trip Details
Day 1: Maun
Welcome to the capital of the Okavango Delta! Once you arrive at the Maun Airport, we'll take you to the lodge where you'll be able to get some rest after your journey.
After settling in, you'll get to enjoy a full dinner. Time to re-energise, Okavango's beauty awaits you!
Day 2: Maun
After breakfast, we'll begin a comprehensive tour of Maun to discover all its attractions. We'll get to know its craft shops—the perfect spaces to learn all about the country's culture.
To continue learning in the best way possible, we'll take you to a restaurant to try some of the most authentic local cuisine. With our bellies full, we'll continue exploring local Muan customs by wandering around a local market.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the village of Matlapana, where we'll enjoy an unforgettable sunset at Old Bridge, the first bridge that connected the Delta communities with Maun.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel, where we'll enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Maun – Okavango Detla
The adventure begins! Early in the morning we'll leave Maun behind and make our way to the heart of the Okavango Delta. To do so, we'll head into the Moremi Game Reserve, where some of the best landscapes of our journey through Botswana await us.
During our time in Moremi, we'll be able to see an incredible variety of fauna and flora thanks to the various islands formed by the mouth of the Okavango. While we explore the park in an offroading vehicle, we'll witness how animals live peacefully in this space.
Hippos, lions, rhinos, endangered birds...You'll be surrounded by one of the richest and most diverse ecosystems in the African content!
Finally, the day will come to an end by resting at the camp in the Moremi Game Reserve.
Day 4: Okavango Delta – Mokoro Ride
After a tasty breakfast, we'll begin one of the most exciting and unique experiences of the safari: a mokoro ride down the Okavango Delta.
During the journey on this traditional canoe, you'll get to know the beauty of Botswana's fauna and flora from a completely new perspective. Additionally, we'll make a stop at Khwai to enjoy a picnic-style lunch. It'll be an unforgettable moment!
Later on, we'll continue exploring the landscapes in the Okavango Delta and end the day re-energising with a full dinner at the camp.
Day 5: Okavango Delta
On the 5th day, after breakfast, we'll continue getting to know this huge ecosystem in search of any animal we may not have spotted up until now. We'll also discover different areas of the Okavango Delta so you won't return home without having explored every corner of this magical place.
After a complete safari day in an offroading vehicle, we'll return to the camp for dinner.
Day 6: Moremi Game Reserve – Maun
