Gran Canaria Total Tour
Tour Details
This 10-hour tour begins by climbing on board a comfortable air-conditioned bus and heading to Guayadeque Ravine, one of the most spectacular cliffs of the archipelago of the Canary Islands.
While you visit this ravine type valley, your English-speaking guide will reveal the history of the first natives to live on the island, since several pre-Hispanic archaeological sites have been discovered in the area. The complex orography of Guayadeque was never an impediment to make it their home. Follow your guide into the house-caves excavated into the rock. You will be surprised to discover that the rock not only accommodates homes, but churches and even bars.
We'll continue our journey by visiting the village of Firgas and its waterfalls. This outstanding monument is accompanied by tiles and reliefs that pay tribute to the people and villages of the Canary Islands. There, we'll stop so you can get yourself some lunch.
After lunch, we'll go to Degollada Becerra to enjoy the beautiful views from the Roque Nublo viewpoint. Be sure to get your camera ready for some impressive photos!
Lastly, we'll go to Fataga, where we'll visit an Aloe Vera farm. We'll learn the healing properties and benefits of this succulent plant species, used both in cooking and for cosmetics.
Finally, we'll return to the hotel areas, arriving back to the starting point 9 hours and 50 minutes later.
