Hiking Tour in Mascota
Hiking Tour in Mascota
When making your reservation, you can choose between two routes for your hiking tour in Mascota. Both start at 8 am, last between two and three hours and include an English-speaking guide.
Yerbabuena & Cimarrón Chico Hike
We'll leave Mascota on board a minibus in the direction of the village of Yerbabuena. From there, we'll embark on an 8 kilometre hike through farmland and trails surrounded by lush native vegetation. The route also includes a 2 kilometre descent to the town of Cimarrón Chico.
Once we reach this town, we'll be able to explore the main square and its unique church decorated with pink and blue stripes. To return to Mascota, you can choose to hike back on foot or go by vehicle.
Corrinchis Dam Hike
This hike starts in the centre of Mascota and continues along the cobblestone streets until we cross the river. We'll then take a path lined with pine and oak trees until we reach the Corrinchis Dam.
There, we'll enjoy a short rest while we admire the large lagoon and its two islets: Conejo and El Beso. After taking in the views, we'll hike back to Mascota to end the experience.
Meeting Point
We'll contact you well in advance to confirm the exact meeting point, which depends on the hiking tour you choose.
