Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations. We'll then board a boat where we'll start an unforgettable experience sailing through Marseille. Anchors away!

We'll first head to the picturesque and small fishing port in Vallon des Auffes as the sun's rays start changing from an intense yellow to a dim orange.

Afterward, we'll go to the Château d'If, a prison built between 1527 and 1529 on a small island in the Frioul archipelago. This fort was commissioned by King Frances I and served two purposes: to control the most dangerous prisoners and monitor the flow of ships sailing along the city's coastline.

We'll continue our journey by exploring the rest of the islands of Frioul while revealing the best-kept secrets of Marseille's underwater biodiversity. What is the characteristic geology that shapes Marseille's coast? What marine animals inhabit these waters? You'll find out!

Finally, we'll return to our starting point and conclude this boat ride after 2 hours.
