Three Valleys + Atlas Mountains Tour
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Marrakech and begin our fascinating tour of the Three Valleys, right in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Are you ready to admire some of the most beautiful landscapes in Morrocco? Let's go!
Firstly, we'll make our way to Lalla Takerhoust, a lake located in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. Here, we'll take a camel ride to discover the nature of the area, in the most traditional way possible. Once we've finished, we'll grab a bite to eat, we'll enjoy mint tea and bread with honey and olive oil.
We will continue our route through the town of Azrou, declared a World Heritage Site, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast in the area.
We'll continue our route through the town of Azrou, declared a World Heritage Site, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast in the area. Then, we'll head to the Amizmiz Valley by visiting the typical Amazigh markets. These markets are only set up only Tuesdays in Tahannaout and Saturdays in the Asni Valley. Due to this, if you're doing your tour on these days, you'll be able to enjoy these artisan markets and see what the different stalls have to offer.
Afterward, we'll hike for 1.5 hours through the Atlas Mountains in search of the breathtaking views that this area of Morocco has to offer. You can even swim in beautiful waterfalls!
After the hiking, we'll enter an Amazigh house for something to eat. This traditional food will consist of a great variety of tajines, couscous, salads and other local delicacies, like tea.
With this delicious taste left in our mouths, we'll begin our return journey back, as we delight in the last views of the Atlas Mountains.
After 9 hours, the tour will come to an end back at the hotels in Marrakech.
