Three Valleys + Atlas Mountains Tour

  • 781 reviews | 4,531 travellers
We had a great day!! The guide Mustafa Antonio Banderas is a crack, very funny and attentive to everything!! The group was also very nice and the excursion is worth it to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and see smaller towns and how they live. We also saw the Atlas Mountains up close and a small route to a waterfall. The food halfway there was also very tasty. We would definitely do it again, we went with two children aged 11 and 13.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Marrakech and begin our fascinating tour of the Three Valleys, right in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Are you ready to admire some of the most beautiful landscapes in Morrocco? Let's go!

Firstly, we'll make our way to Lalla Takerhoust, a lake located in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. Here, we'll take a camel ride to discover the nature of the area, in the most traditional way possible. Once we've finished, we'll grab a bite to eat, we'll enjoy mint tea and bread with honey and olive oil.

We'll continue our route around the Amizmiz Valley by visiting the typical Amazigh markets. These markets are only set up only Tuesdays in Tahannaout and Saturdays in the Asni Valley, due to this, if you're doing your tour on these days, you'll be able to enjoy these artisan markets and see what the different stalls have to offer.

Afterwards, we'll go to Aroumd and take part in a hiking tour of its forests in search of waterfalls and some of the most impressive views of the valley. You'll even be able to take a dip in the waterfalls!

After the hiking, we'll enter Amazigh house for something to eat. This traditional food will consist of a great variety of tajines, cuscus, salads and other local delicacies.

With this delicious taste left in our mouths, we'll begin our return journey back to the town of Aroumd, as we delight in the last views of the Atlas Mountains.

After 8 hours, the tour will come to an end back at the hotels in Marrakech.
