At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Marrakech and set our sights on Casablanca, Morocco's industrial and naval hub.
We'll arrive at the port area that's full of alleyways, small squares, and passageways that wind their way through the Medina. This particular part of Casablanca offers a perfect view of the old and new coming together to create beautiful corners of contrasts throughout the city.
Next, we'll head over to the United Nations Plaza, and discuss the international alliances that have shaped recent Moroccan politics. We'll pass by Mohammed IV Plaza, where the Royal Palace stands out for its impressive architecture.
Then, if there is enough time, we'll move on to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Lourdes while we talk about why it was built in Casablanca.
Following this visit, we'll come to admire the Islamic architectural masterpiece: Hassan II Mosque. Standing in the wide-open patio space, alongside our guide, we'll marvel at the detailed mosaics that decorate the area and the true size of this temple.
After visiting the mosque, you'll have an hour of free time for lunch. Feeling refuelled, we'll pass through the residential district of Anfa and take you to the beaches of Casablanca, where you'll enjoy a well-deserved rest while admiring the beautiful views.
Then, we'll bring you back to your hotel in Marrakech, arriving 12 hours later.
