Atlas Mountains + Paragliding Tour

  • 3 reviews | 247 travellers
Both our pilot, Said, and our guide, Hassan, were both very nice and we were very comfortable with them. The activity does everything it says and is a very complete experience, both the flight, the route through the traditional market and through the mountains passing by some waterfalls and the final meal, which was especially good. A highly recommended activity for everyone. I would like to highlight the kindness and treatment of Said and Hassan.

Atlas Mountains + Paragliding Tour

At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech to go into the rocky Atlas Mountains, the mountain range that separates the Mediterranean Sea from the Sahara Desert.

Before we get to our destination, we'll make our first stop of the day at an argan oil cooperative. Here, we'll learn all about how this popular ingredient in Moroccan food and cosmetics is produced.

Our tour will then take us to the village of Azrou, where we'll learn about the lifestyle of the Amazigh people. In addition, if you're joining us on a Tuesday or a Saturday, we'll visit one of their famous arts and crafts stalls

Next, we'll cross the Gorges of Moulay Brahim and come to the Kik Plateau. We'll make our way up to the top of a hill so we can get everything ready for our paragliding experience over the Atlas Mountains. We'll explain some safety regulations that you'll need to follow and then it'll be time to take to the skies!

You'll spend around 20 minutes flying over the rugged landscapes of Morocco and admiring bird's eye views of the spectacular scenery.

Once we're back on land, we'll visit a typical Amazigh residence. We'll be welcomed by the people who live here, who'll share both their traditions and a delicious lunch, accompanied by drinks, with us.

Finally, we'll begin our return journey to Marrakech and we'll drop you off at your hotel after between 4.5 and 5.5 hours in total.
