On this excursion from Marbella, we'll take you to the beautiful city of Granada, where we'll visit the Alhambra Palace, an architectural jewel that stands out for the Nasrid-style art that fills its rooms and gardens.
Granada Excursion
At the scheduled time, we'll meet on Avenida Ramón y Cajal,1 in Marbella and hit the road in the direction of Granada.
After making several pickups on the Costa del Sol, we'll arrive at the ancient capital of the Nasrid Kingdom and go directly to visit the famous Alhambra. The tour of this magnificent historical complex, declared a World Heritage Site, begins with a visit to the Palace of Charles V, which dates back to the Renaissance period.
After getting to know this monument built by order of the emperor, we'll enter the Nasrid Palaces of the Alhambra, where we'll see remarkable places like the Hall of the Abencerrajes, the Comares Tower and, of course, the famous courtyard with the fountain of the lions.
This tour of the Alhambra also includes access to the gardens of the Generalife, where you'll no doubt become intoxicated by the scent of flowers and the soft sound of its ornamental fountains.
When we finish exploring the Alhambra, we'll head to the historic center of Granada, where we'll visit some of the city's must-see spots. Following this walking tour, you'll have two hours of free time to grab a bite to eat and continue exploring the beautiful streets of the city.
In the afternoon we'll return to Marbella, arriving ten hours after pickup.
Changes in the itinerary
During the excursion, there may be several pickup stops in other locations on the Costa del Sol. In addition, the order of the visits will vary depending on the scheduled time of the visit to the Alhambra.
