South Africa's Kruger National Park is one of the largest animal reserves in the world. Discover its wide range of wildlife on this unforgettable safari from Maputo.
Kruger National Park Safari
We'll meet at 5:00 am at 417 Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in Maputo and head north. An hour later we'll reach the Ressano Garcia pass: the border between Mozambique and the Republic of South Africa.
Once we've gone through passport control, we'll cross South African territory towards Crocodile Bridge Gate: the southern gateway to the famous Kruger National Park. Did you know that this nature reserve is one of the largest on the African continent? Hundreds of animal species coexist in this gigantic ecosystem!
We'll go on a safari around Kruger Park onboard a safari jeep. On the tour we'll see Africa's "Big five game": lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, buffaloes and elephants. The wildest of animals in their natural habitat!
After visiting different areas of Kruger Park we'll go to one of the reserve's camping areas. Here we'll recharge our batteries with a picnic lunch. After lunch, we'll get back in the truck to see giraffes, zebras and other animal species that live in places further away from the reserve.
At 5:30 pm the safari will end and we'll make our way back to Crocodile Bridge Gate. An hour and a half later we'll drop you back at Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in Maputo.
