Quepos Food Tour & Cooking Class
Quepos Food Tour & Cooking Class
Having been picked up from your hotel at the indicated time, you'll set off in the direction of the neighboring town of Quepos, where you'll begin this gastronomic tour at the local farmers market.
Wander between the different food stalls, letting the vibrant colors, enticing smells, and mouth-watering tastes of the fresh produce captivate your senses. Advised by your guide, you'll gather the ingredients for the typical Costa Rican food you'll later prepare in your cooking class.
You'll then be taken inland to the small town of Londres, where you'll choose the last few ingredients from an organic garden at a private ranch before getting settled in the private kitchen, ready to learn how to prepare Costa Rica's most popular recipes.
Guided by expert local chefs, you'll prepare corn tortillas; plantain ceviche; rice; chicken in a hearty tomato sauce, amongst other delicious treats. Make sure to pay attention to the recipes so you can recreate them at home! After cooking up a storm, you'll sit down together to eat the tasty food you've made.
After eating, you'll have free time to explore the farm and stroll along the banks of the Naranjo River. Finally, at the end of a five-and-a-half-hour tour, you'll be dropped back off at your hotel.
