First of all, we'll visit the American Cemetery, an eerie place that may remind us of Arlington in Washington DC. There's a reason for that: this Manila cemetery is the burial place for those Americans living in the Philippines who died during World War II.
Next, we'll head to Bonifacio Global City, one of the most modern districts in the Filipino capital. We'll stroll through its main streets and admire its impressive skyscrapers. We'll have time to enter one of its glitzy shopping malls too.
Afterwards, we'll continue our tour of Manila's contrasts through the district of Pasay, one of the most important residential neighbourhoods in the city. We'll stroll along Roxas Boulevard, a beautiful promenade lined with palm trees and overlooking Manila Bay. Not for nothing, it's famous for its beautiful sunsets.
During our walk along this boulevard, we'll also see the National Theatre and the beautiful Rizal Park, a huge green space that contrasts perfectly with the modern buildings around it!
Later, we'll make our way to Intramuros, one of the most famous neighbourhoods in Manila. Among its streets, we'll experience first hand how different it is from the other areas we've visited on the tour. During this last part of the tour, we'll explore the most emblematic places in Intramuros: the Fort Santiago and Manila Cathedral.
