Book a private tour of Manfredonia and discover the most important monuments of this beautiful town. You'll be accompanied by an expert guide, just for you and your group!

Manfredonia Private Tour

On the day of the activity, we'll meet in Piazzale Silvio Ferri, in Manfredonia, to begin a fascinating tour of the most emblematic places of this Apulian city. This town was founded by Manfredi of Swabia, after whom the city is also named. We'll talk about this and many other curiosities during the tour!

Our private tour of Manfredonia will start at one of the most symbolic monuments of the city, the Swabian-Angevin-Aragonese castle, located a few steps from the sea. Inside, we'll visit the National Archaeological Museum of Manfredonia, famous for hosting the famous Stele Daunie and findings from the nearby archaeological site of Siponto.

After visiting the exhibition center, we'll head towards the equestrian statue of King Manfredi, the founder of the city, and then cross through the historic center of Manfredonia until we reach the Cathedral of San Lorenzo Maiorano. Did you know that it preserves the image of the Madonna of Siponto, dating all the way back to the 5th century? After observing it from the outside, we'll enter the temple to see the image of the city's patron saint.

After two hours of exploring the town of Manfredonia, we'll say goodbye and the private tour will conclude.
