Description
Starting at the day's pickup point, Hotel Máncora y Pocitas, we'll reach the Máncora dock by bus. Once there, we'll embark on a boat ride hugging the northern coast of Peru.
We'll sail along Los Órganos y Vichayito beach, enjoying the views of the coastline and taking in the extensive sandy shores of the Pacific Ocean. Here we'll find shorelines so long you'll lose sight of them on the horizon. This view will undoubtedly be imprinted in your memory for years to come. Along the ride, if weather allows, we can spot some sea lions lazing on the Peruvian beach, among other wildlife in the area.
After a brief explanation of safety protocols and securely fastening our life jackets, we'll jump straight into the Pacific to enjoy the highlight of the day: swimming with Peruvian sea turtles. Los Órganos y Vichayito beach offers the best conditions for these special marine animals to live in a natural and undisturbed ecosystem.
If we take care not to make any sudden movements, and keep a generous distance, we might be able to see the turtles up close. The true size of these animals alone will shock you, some even reaching up to 200kg (440 lbs)!
After a great swim with turtles, enjoying the Pacific Ocean, you'll board the boat again and return to your original point of departure to end the day.
