Máncora Surfing Course
Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Hotel Del Wawa, next to Máncora Beach, to begin our surfing course. Are you ready to ride some waves in northern Peru?
We'll begin with a brief introduction and some stretching exercises to prepare our bodies before entering the water. Then, we'll move on to the sand where we'll explain the basics of surfing: how to lie down on the board, how to paddle correctly and the technique for standing up. Once you know how to do this, it will be time to practice!
Together we'll head out to sea, where we'll enjoy an hour of fun surfing the waves. You'll paddle as you wait for the perfect wave, figuring out how to keep your balance and stand up on the board as you go.
During the whole practical lesson, we'll make sure that each one of you masters the basics of surfing. Did you know that Máncora's waves are perfect for learning? Their size and regularity make this beach an ideal place to get started in this sport.
Finally, we'll return to the shore and finish our surfing course at the same meeting point.
Schedule Info
When booking, you can choose if you'd prefer to do the surfing course in the morning or in the afternoon:
- Morning: the class will take place between 6:30 am and 12:30 pm
- Afternoon: in this case, it will be between 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm
Please keep in mind that the exact time will depend on weather conditions.
