Manama Handicrafts Private Tour
Manama Handicrafts Private Tour
If you have a passion for local handicrafts, this private tour was made for you. We'll pick you up from your hotel in Manama at 9 am to start discovering the most traditional Bahraini art.
First, we'll visit the Bait Al Quran, which translates to 'House of the Quran'. This complex accommodates a mosque, a school, a library, and one of the most famous Islamic museums in the area. We'll find manuscripts hundreds of years old from different parts of the world: Spain, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, etc.
Our next stop? The Manama Handicraft Center. We'll find iron jewelry, dolls, embroidery, and much more. Up to 80 people work here, offering visitors the best samples of local products. Will you resist the temptation to do some shopping?
Then, we'll visit the house of Manama Khalaf, where we'll learn all the details of the pearl trade in the city. We'll also visit Bab Al Bahrain. Also known as the 'Gate of Bahrain', this building marks the entrance to the Souk. Feel like doing some more shopping? Here you'll have the chance to do so!
We'll arrive at your hotel, ending the tour four hours after the meeting time.
