Himmafushi & Huraa Island Day Trip
Himmafushi & Huraa Island Day Trip
At 10 am, we'll meet on the Hulhumale jetty in Malé and we'll climb aboard a speed boat which will take us north towards Huraa Island.
While we explore Huraa, you'll get the chance to see how the locals live; you'll even see a typical fish-curing process! We'll also head to the famous Huraa mangroves and we'll reach a glorious freshwater lake. After exploring this heavenly island, we'll set sail again and head to our next destination: Himmafushi.
When we reach Himmafushi, we'll take you to a local restaurant so that you can replenish your energy with a delicious buffet lunch. After lunch, you'll have free time to explore the island at your own pace, and maybe even pick up a handmade souvenir.
We'll then head to sea once again, but before we reach Hulhumale we'll take a stop so that you can jump into the crystal-clear water and go snorkeling. The water in the Maldives has a great deal of biodiversity and you'll have the chance to swim among a range of tropical fish and coral reefs, and if you're lucky you may even spot a sea turtle, a reef shark, or a stingray!
After exploring the marine life, we'll head back to Malé, where we'll arrive at around 4:30 pm.
