Topeng Culture Private Tour
Topeng Culture Private Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Malang and board a comfortable minibus. We'll drive to a local village and get our private tour of Topeng culture started.
45 minutes later, we'll get to Kedungmonggo Village. When we arrive, we'll be met by a member of the community who'll take us to the Malang Art and Mask Studio, where we'll learn about the history of these masks and how to make them.
After we've seen the workshop where the masks are made, we'll continue immersing ourselves in Topeng culture by watching a traditional dance performance. Some members of the community will also teach us the steps so we can join in too.
Next, we'll have a delicious lunch consisting of various traditional Topeng dishes. Once we've eaten, we'll return to the workshops so you can add some colour to your masks. Let's get creative!
We'll then take you back to your hotel in Malang, where we'll arrive at 3 pm.
