El Saltillo Gorge & White Village Hiking Tour
Description
We'll meet on Calle Ordóñez in the center of Málaga, where we'll take a minibus to Canillas de Aceituno, about an hour away.
Upon arrival, we'll go on a guided walking tour of this beautiful village located at the foot of the Sierra de Tejeda mountains. Its white houses and streets decorated with flowers are enough to make you fall in love!
Then, from the center of this town, we'll start a 6-kilometer hiking route through El Saltillo gorge, also known by many as 'the other Caminito del Rey'.
During the tour, we'll follow along the Almanchares riverbed as we marvel at the beauty of the Axarquía region. Amazing landscapes, mountain goats, birds of prey and much more awaits us in this charming enclave.
Plus, we'll stop to enjoy a delicious picnic consisting of local products, fruit and water. And, you'll also have 30 minutes of free time to take a refreshing dip by the river! Afterward, we'll return to the trail.
The trekking route will finish after about 3.5 hours, returning to Malaga.
