Description
"The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls". So said Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Malaga's best-known painter and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century... and what better place to embrace his art than in his birthplace, now a fascinating museum dedicated to showcasing his life?
Within the walls of the artist's former home, you'll be immersed in the world of Picasso. You'll be able to explore at your own pace, discovering the different rooms and the art and personal belongings of the painter thanks to the explanations of an audioguide in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Chinese.
The museum rooms offer a thematic tour that explores Pablo Picasso's connection with Malaga. The influence of his hometown is clear in his personality and in his works, and the museum gives you incomparable insight into the creative universe of the iconic artist.
