Carmen Thyssen Museum Tickets
Why Visit the Carmen Thyssen Museum?
Located in the Villalón Palace, in the historical centre of the Costa del Sol's capital, the Carmen Thyssen Museum is one of the main art galleries in Malaga.
With your ticket to the Carmen Thyssen Museum, you'll get to visit the many rooms of the permanent collection with an audio guide. The ground floor is dedicated to Romantic Landscape and Costumbrismo. In these rooms, you can see featured works such as View of the River Guadalquivir by Manuel Barrón y Carrillo and A Confraternity in Procession along Calle Génova by Alfred Dehodencq.
The first floor is divided into two areas: Old Masters on one side and Précieux Style and Naturalist Painting on the other. In the first section, you'll find paintings like Santa Marina by Francisco Zurbarán, while the second section features works like North African Landscape by Mariano Fortuny, and Leaving the Masked Ball by Raimundo de Madrazo.
The rooms on the second floor are dedicated to Fin-de-Siécle, with representative artworks such as Rocks at Jávea and the White Boat by Joaquín Sorolla and The Fortune-Telling by Julio Romero de Torres.
Additionally, your ticket also gives you access to the museum's temporary exhibitions, located on the third floor.
