Description
After meeting at the Pasillo de Santa Isabel in Malaga at the indicated time, hop aboard your air-conditioned bus and head to Granada, the heart of Spain's Arab heritage.
There, you'll have some free time to explore the city at your leisure. It won't take long for you to see and feel the city's Islamic influence as you pass the many beautiful examples of Arab architecture.
Then, the next stop will be Granada's main attraction, the Alhambra, an Arab citadel set into the impressive Sierra Nevada mountains and well worth its consideration as an eighth wonder of the world.
We'll wander through the numerous chambers and gardens for three hours and we'll admire its elaborately carved ceilings and arches, and the intricate details of its beautiful tiling. The Medina, the Alcazaba, the Palace of Charles V, and the Generalife gardens are particularly magnificent. We'll then enter the Palacios Nazaríes, where you'll find the iconic Patio de los Leones.
After visiting the Alhambra, we'll start the return journey to Malaga after this eight-hour day trip.
