Between 8:10 am and 8:30 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in the north of Mahé and drive to Victoria, the capital of Seychelles. Did you know that it's the smallest capital city in the world?
This exciting day will begin with a panoramic tour of the historic center of this colonial city, where we'll see the Town Hall, the Museum, the Post Office, and the Clock Tower, the sister tower of another identical clock located in Victoria Station in London.
We'll stop at the Codevar building and visit a handicraft market where we'll find pieces made with Creole gold. We'll then stroll down Albert Street towards a vibrant and colorful market of fish, tropical fruits, spices, and many more local products.
Afterwards, we'll return to the bus and hit the road again, this time towards the Sans Soucis mountain pass, where we'll stop for a photo op before heading to the restaurant where we'll indulge in a delicious Creole lunch.
Once we're refueled and ready to go again, we'll head to the south of Mahé to visit the Jardin du Roi, inspired by the French gardens of the 18th century, where you'll be captivated by a multitude of aromas of spices such as vanilla, cinnamon, and paprika. Walking around here is a real treat for the senses! Upon arrival, we'll be served a refreshing fresh fruit drink, and then we'll walk through the plantations of vegetables, exotic fruits, herbs, and spices.
The last stop will be at Craft Village, where you'll have free time to explore where the locals make handicrafts.
Finally, we'll drop you back off at your hotel at around 4 pm.
