Why Visit the Royal Palace of Madrid?
The Royal Palace of Madrid is the biggest in Western Europe, twice the size of Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Versailles.
Philip V, the first Spanish king of the Bourbon dynasty, ordered the construction of the Royal Palace from the remains of the old Alcazar. The first monarch who lived there was Charles III, and it is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family, although it is currently used only for ceremonies and official events.
With this ticket, you can discover the treasures that await in its grandiose interior. The Plaza de Armas, the Main Staircase, the Throne Room, the Gasparini Room, the Royal Chapel, the Pharmacy and its rooms filled with beautiful decorative arts and furniture, will dazzle you at every step. Don't miss out!
