Temporary Exhibitions
From February 6 to May 11, 2025, in the Sala Recoletos of the MAPFRE Foundation in Madrid, you can visit the following temporary exhibitions:
- 1924. Other Surrealisms: the exhibition highlights the fact that, despite its peripheral location with respect to the centres of the European avant-garde, Spain not only contributed to the movement with some of its most representative protagonists (Dalí, Buñuel, Domínguez...), but also with other important figures.
- Sakiko Nomura. Tender is the night: known above all for her photographs of nude males, which have represented a defiant break with some of the taboos and traditional stereotypes of Japanese culture, Sakiko Nomura (1967) is one of the most outstanding photographers of her generation.
