Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the designated time at Plaza de España, in the center of Madrid. From there, we'll get on a comfortable bus and head north towards the Sierra Guadarrama National Park. A route of great environmental value awaits us, where we'll take in beautiful landscapes and monuments.
In less than an hour, we'll reach our first stop, the famous Manzanares El Real Castle, where we'll see its famous Castle of the Mendoza from outside, an ancient fortress from the 15th century. Take a picture!
Afterward, we'll head to La Pedriza, where we'll embark on a walking tour of its landscapes to discover the area's great geological richness. We'll also meet the local fauna and explore other famous areas of the Sierra de Guadarrama: the port of Cotos and Navacerradas. You'll love their scenery!
Our route will continue in Rascafría, where you can take the opportunity to have lunch on your own in a restaurant. After lunch, we'll continue the tour passing by two icons in Rascafría: its Finnish Forest and the beautiful Monastery of El Paular, which we'll see from outside.
Finally, from Rascafría, we'll return to the starting point in Madrid, arriving 10 hours after pickup.
