The Flamenco Theatre of Madrid

Teatro Flamenco Madrid is more than a theater. It's a universe dedicated to flamenco in its purest form. An open, vibrant cultural center, where those who understand that flamenco cannot be explained come together knowing it is to be experienced, listened to and above all, shared.

The Flamenco Theatre forms part of the Alfil Theatre, a legendary show venue located on Calle del Pez.

Consisting of 2 floors, the theatre covers a surface area of 300 square meters and can accommodate up to 220 people. These figures confirm that Alfil Theatre is one of the best venues in Madrid to enjoy flamenco rhythms, dances and music.

It is said that “flamenco is a feeling of the soul that is danced, sang and played.” This is the theory, but you cannot experience the ‘duende’ spirit of this intangible art until you attend a live show for yourself. It is no coincidence that this performance at the Flamenco Theatre of Madrid is precisely called “Emociones” (Emotions).

In the Flamenco Theatre of Madrid, you can enjoy unique performances. The artistic direction rests on the shoulders of two distinguished craftsmen in this art: the guitarist Antonio Andrade and the dancer Úrsula Moreno. C'était une très belle soirée. Les artistes étaient sublimes. La seule petite note serait d'avoir un tout petit plus d'interaction avec le public et peut-être d'avoir au minimum un chant ou musique plus populaire à l'international pour créer plus de connexion avec le public. La performance de chacun était cependant incroyable. Bravo à tous et toutes ! Je recommande de faire cette activité lors de votre passage à Madrid Translate this opinion into English.

The only small note would be to have a little more interaction with the audience and perhaps to have at least one song or music more popular internationally to create more connection with the audience.
