Why see flamenco at Tablao La Carmela?
Tablao La Carmela is a flamenco venue right in the center of Madrid. In fact, it's just a few meters from the central Puerta del Sol where the old convent of La Victoria was located, destroyed after the War of Independence.
This tablao has featured distinguished artists of the likes of Remedios Amaya, Antonio Canales, Farru, El Carpeta and La Lupi, whose innovative and hypnotizing flamenco performances always make for an unforgettable evening. Not only that, but to accompany the show, you can also enjoy a drink, a snack or dinner. Undoubtedly, an unmissable evening if you're in the Spanish capital!
Show with snacks
The snack menu includes one drink per person (wine, beer or soft drink), ham or an assortment of acorn-fed Iberian cured meats, gildas (olive & anchovie pinchos), as well as ham and oxtail croquettes. This appetizer can be enjoyed during the show. You must arrive half an hour before the show starts for this option.
Show with dinner
If you choose the option that includes dinner, you'll enjoy a selection of typical Spanish dishes, such as oxtail, tripe or paella. In addition, you can choose whether you prefer to have dinner before or after the show. The following are the available menus offered by Tablao La Carmela:
